All
Barham residents can play a part by remaining vigilant,
taking notes of any suspected crime observed, or of any suspicious
happenings, and immediately contacting Canterbury Police on 01227 762055.
A crime observed actually in progress must be reported
to the Police on 999 immediately. If any vehicles are involved,
record the registration number, and a description.
Later, the
details should be passed to the Barham Coordinator, Dick
Bailey, on 01227 831275.
A very
important source of local crime information is available to
residents with e-mail facilities. To enable these regular Police Crime Reports to reach
into all parts of the village, you can opt to receive e-mails to pass
any relevant information on to neighbours and friends.
If you would like to be
added to the Coordinator's Barham Residents List then either telephone .Dick
Bailey, on 01227 831275 or email him by
clicking
on this text.
It is important to
remember that it is not only in the village that Neighbourhood Watch matters.
Farms and houses away from the village are also part of our area and
might well benefit from early advice of rural crime.
Neighbourhood Watch can
also give advice on many
aspects of property security, from dwellings to personal matters.
Contact the Barham Coordinator to discuss way in which you may improve
security, to find out more about the movement - or perhaps pass on new
ideas about crime prevention.
