| 2002 | Golden Jubilee | Queen
Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee was celebrated by most of the villagers on
the Village Green. There were many stalls selling food,
drink and local artwork, the children enjoyed games in the arena and the
whole event was topped off by a large firework
display. St John's Church held a special flower display. |

Barham School | New school building opened by Mary Goodman on 10 July. |
| 2003 | Barham School | Tragic death of Sue Murrell, head teacher, in a road accident. |
| 2004 | Barham Church | A gallery, kitchen, lavatory and meeting room added in the North Transept. |
| 2005 | Barham Church | A new organ was installed, completely replacing the existing one. |
| 2008 | Post Office | Barham's last shop will close on 13th August. There are plans for a new Post Office to be constructed after a temporary building operates from near the Village Hall. |
| 2009 | Post Office | Barham's new temporary Post Office opened at 10.00 on Thursday 25th June - in a converted container outside the Village Hall. |
